John Colella, our Scene Study Teacher, is the Lead in Italian American Reconciliation

Here is a summary of the play: ___________________________________________________________ "In his wildly successful Italian American Reconciliation (1988), playwright, John Patrick Shanley, winner of the Academy Award for Moonstruck (1987) and the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award for Doubt (2005), concocts a gritty, sparkling tale about lovers, dreamers and confusion. With New York's Little Italy as a backdrop, Italian American Reconciliation is an edgy romantic comedy that is...bathed in the same moonlit madness that gave Moonstruck its savor and flavor...A lovely play." - New York Post ___________________________________________________________ Read the Reviews: ___________________________________________________________ "John Colella, as Aldo, steals the show with his cool demeanor and his perfect "dese, dem, and dose" accent." "the wiry, sexy John Colella is a delight to watch" "It makes for a delightful evening of comedy and drama." -Santa Monica Daily Press ___________________________________________________________ "The direction is so crisp and the actors so good....that the whole evening can be summarized by a comment overheard by someone in the audience as people were leaving - 'that was really fun' - It sure was" -reviewplays.com ___________________________________________________________ Mention Compost Productions when you order your tickets and get $5 off!
